Lenovo s930 and s650

            


             NEW DELHI: Chinese device maker Lenovo has launched two new mid-range smartphones, S650 and S930. Both the new smartphones are powered by MediaTek chipsets and run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

The Lenovo S930 is a phablet sporting a large 6-inch screen with 720p display and pixel density of 245ppi. It measures 170 x 86. x 8.65 mm and weighs 170gram.

It's powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU part of the MediaTek 6852 chip along with a Mali 400MP graphics processor and 1GB of RAM. The device sports an 8MP rear camera and a 1.6MP front-facing camera. The phone comes with 8GB internal storage expandable via a memory card slot and a 3,000mAh battery.

The Lenovo S650 on the other hand, is a compact phone featuring a 4.7 inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) display, with a pixel density of 234ppi. The phone measures 138 x 69.8 x 8.7 mm and weighs 126 grams.

The S650 is also powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU part of the MediaTek 6852 chip and 1GB of RAM. It offers 8GB internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot, and a 2,000mAh battery. The phone will also come in a dual-SIM variant. It sports an 8MP rear camera and 0.3MP front-facing camera.

While Lenovo S650 has reportedly been priced at $366, S930 will carry a price tag of $427. There is no word on the global availability of the phones yet.
